Hi, how are you? We know that your great love for your baby has led you here. No matter what your decision is, we are thankful for your interest in our family.
We are the Nguyen family (Tang, Pam and Levi). Levi is 7 years old and is currently in first grade. He is very excited to be a big brother some day, and he wants to teach his little brother or sister everything he knows. Levi loves playing with his dinosaurs, reading about animals, and having pet insects and lizards. He also likes to play a little bit of everything, such as basketball, football, soccer, and baseball. There’s never a dull moment in the house because he keeps us active.
Tang works as a firefighter and paramedic for the Houston Fire Department. Tang has been a fireman for 16 years and will soon be promoted to Senior Captain. He is active in our church, volunteers as a Sunday school teacher, maintenance team lead, and missions team member. Levi gets his energy and playfulness from Tang. Tang loves to make people laugh and enjoys many sports, like volleyball, pickleball, basketball, mountain biking and rock climbing. But he can also stand still for hours fishing and loves being outdoors.
Pam works as a dietitian for the Houston Methodist Hospital and she has been there for over 17 years. She is steady and loyal. She is affectionately known as the “herbivore” and goes through great efforts to have fruits and vegetables available in the house daily. And we have been blessed with good health. Pam met Tang while playing volleyball, and they still love playing together when they get the chance. She enjoys biking with her family, baking and loves singing karaoke. Pam volunteers at our church as a Sunday school teacher for the preschool kids. She is so good with the kids and has a very tender heart for them.
Tang and Pam both come from large families. Many of the family members still live in Houston, so every weekend is like a family reunion. As a family, we enjoy playing board games, camping and exploring the national parks. Levi has just discovered his love for roller coasters, so we have already been to Six Flags Fiesta Texas 3 times in the past year. We live in a suburb of Houston where the neighborhood kids come out to play in the yard and street until dinner time. We love how friendly our neighbors are, and we have become a very close-knit community. Between our family, our church family, and our neighbors, we truly have a village to help raise Levi.
Thank you so much for taking the time to learn more about us. We know this decision is not easy and that you truly love the baby. AIM is an incredibly wonderful organization and any family you choose will be the right one for your baby.
