We are very fortunate to have special friends who always think of us when an opportunity arises. Here are just a few of the
recent things that our friends have done for A.I.M. and our clients:
We were treated to a wonderful hand prepared
lunch.complete with homemade blackberry
cobbler.by an AIM adoptive mom, Peggy,
when she and her 7 month old daughter, Sarah,
came by today to visit. One of our waiting moms,
Harriet also came by to share in the bounty and
the fellowship. It was a very interesting lunch
because a client and her children came by to work with
Jan to select her adoptive family for the baby she is
carrying. Also on hand was an AIM client that made
an adoption plan several months ago. WOW! Never
a dull moment.and Peggy knew this because she
volunteered in the office while she waited for Sarah's
arrival.so she brought plenty! Thanks Peggy for
thinking of us.
Christ Church United Methodist, The Woodlands
Jen McManus just dropped of a van full of goodies collected by her church's VBS program. The kids (3 y/o thru 4th grade) collected
good gently used toys, children's clothing, and new personal hygiene items to be used for our clients. We are very excited because
we have several single mothers, living in our apartments, who have no toys and very few clothes for the children they are
parenting. What a surprise they will have tomorrow morning!
